What a team! From the beginning of this process we felt secure in knowing we were in the best hands. Rachel and Dave are professional, consistent and so knowledgable. They are both very intuitive and take the time to really get to know their clients and exactly what they are looking for. We always felt that our needs were beyond met and that our very best interests were at the top of mind. We hope to live in our new home for many years, but secretly we can’t wait to work with these two again.

Working with Rachel Paquette was great. We interviewed several real estate agents (all referred from trusted friends, all highly recommended and accomplished) – a very dynamic and challenging time for the house resale market in KW. Rachel differentiated herself with a defined timeline to prepare for our house for the market, firm feedback on what needed to be done for de-cluttering, and active “roll-up-the-sleeves” work to stage our house including removing and re-positioning our furniture, adding accents and paintings. As the market seemed to shift during our showing window with greater competition, Rachel adjusted strategy to generate more traffic through the house and more buying agent attention. The result: Sale price significantly over our list price and very favourable comparatives against other similar and upgraded properties in our area. This was our fourth house sale and we can honestly say that Rachel put forth more effort than the other selling agents combined. Rachel went above and beyond and we highly recommend her.

Rachel is the best agent ever and she makes house hunting fun! She’s also an amazing fundraiser for causes she believes in. Rachel helped me sell my home and find the perfect downsize home for us. Choosing Rachel was an extremely easy decision. She came highly recommended through a small network of friends who had not just used her once, but multiple times. I first met Rachel on-line – no, it wasn’t what you are thinking! I lived in Alberta and my husband and I were planning our retirement back home to Ontario, and I was researching homes on the Remax website daily. Rachel responded to my request about a house of interest and that’s how it all began.

I made a trip to Kitchener about five months ago to visit my daughter and contacted Rachel about a property I wanted to see. That one wasn’t it, so I continued into Toronto to visit my dad. I had just arrived, and Rachel called me back to Waterloo to look at a new listing for a bungalow in a good location, suitable to retirement. I drove back, had a viewing and the deal was done in less than 24 hours, effortlessly.

I say, effortlessly, because Rachel made it happen that way. She listened to what we were looking for as a couple looking at retirement and the lifestyle that comes with it, and she was right on with the house we purchased. I appreciated not being shown houses that were clearly not suitable or that were not in the preferred price range – did not happen with Rachel. Because Rachel had helped her parents relocate from B.C. to Ontario as a retired couple, I think she had an excellent idea of what we wanted.

Now came time to move. Before we arrived in Ontario and after possession, there was some work to be done in the house in our absence. Plan was my daughter would oversee it before her baby was to be born after our arrival. Well, always have a Plan B. Our granddaughter was born on our possession day and now we had to scramble to make things happen. The work got done and it was thanks to Rachel for the many arrangements she made – over and above the job requirements! She responded to my emails and calls immediately, and became our “godsend.”

In summary, Rachel did an excellent job as a realtor. She understood our needs, was honest in her opinion of properties I had questions about, made the transaction go quickly and effortlessly when the buying decision was made, was always available, and didn’t let us down in the end when Plan B had to be executed. We are happy in our home and it’s a property that well suits our needs.
Best of all, Rachel does not sell and then abandon you. She is still my go-to person for “where-to-go-for-what”, which is important when you are new to a city. I would recommend Rachel to anyone looking for their special home.

Rachel is a great agent to have when selling your home. At the start of the process she warned us that it would be a stressful time for us but it would all be worth it in the end. She suggested that we hire a stager for our home to sell it faster. We took her advice and sold our home in a week at a price we were happy with! She recommended properties that fit what we were looking for, and offered her input on things we hadn’t even thought of. We were able to find the perfect home that had everything we were looking for on the very first day she took us out looking at listings. She was able to negotiate the closing dates we wanted, and spent a lot amount of time negotiating and going to bat for us. We would recommend Rachel to anyone who is selling their home.
